For years, we’ve walked by Kohlrabi at the farmer’s market, largely because we didn’t know how to use it in recipes. Then, we discovered it’s very common in Germany and Vietnam and tastes a bit like broccoli stems, so we thought we’d give it a try. Also, it turns out kohlrabi is a great source of fiber and is rich in vitamins A,C,K and many other nutrients.

Preparing the kohlrabi is fairly straight forward – cut everything off the root ball and then peel off it’s tough skin with a veggie peeler. Once prepped, you can try one of these fantastic recipes.
