Tasty Homemade Hummus
Did you know that hummus is the Arabic word for ‘chickpeas’? Although the rich, creamy bean spread is most often made with chickpeas, modern recipes often make it with a variety of beans and creative ingredients. As an appetizer, it’s delicious with flatbread or pita. It’s also wonderful as a sandwich spread or as an accompaniment to chicken or fish.
