How quickly time flies! Last night was the Harvest Moon and this Sunday it’s the first day of fall. There so much to do in New England during the fall – and we’re having one of the best apple seasons ever. Yes, apple pie is delicious. But sometimes it’s nice to make something different. How about something to spread on fresh locally made bread on a crisp autumn morning.

Kelly from Sass & Veracity was kind enough to share her recipe for apple butter with us. It has wonderful ingredients including a delicious blend or aromatic spices. Last year was her first trip to New England to see the foliage and she loved it. Also, be sure to check out her blog. You’ll love it.
